The LCCC Science Club is a service and social organization
open to all Luzerne County Community students, regardless
of major, who are interested in any aspect of the
sciences. The club promotes campus and community
environmental awareness and interest in the sciences
through field trips, environmental cleanups, fundraising
efforts, and science demonstrations.

All LCCC students are welcome to join the Science Club -- and you don't have to be a Science major!

Fall activities are now being planned.

Trips to the Franklin Museum in Philadelphia and Genesis Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Scranton have been discussed.

For one of the meetings we are talking about doing an experiment with DNA. The experiment is called DNA Necklace. Date will be discussed at next meeting and will be during a club meeting.

Prices were discussed for the Franklin Museum.

Science Club members that participated in fundraiser to be paid in advance for $35.00.

$45.00 in advance for non-members which includes transportation and admission.

Pay to Brooke Yeager by November 7th in building 4 room 441.

Trip to the Franklin Museum is scheduled for Monday December 1st.
